CBAA is pleased to release the revised details of the 2010 National Trade Show to be held in Adelaide:

It is with sadness that we must announce the resignation of Chris Donaldson as President and member of Council. Chris has provided valuable contribution to the CBAA over the past few years, however has resigned due to time constraints.

To provide a bit of a snapshot of what has been accomplished with Chris as President so far this year, please see the list below:

1. 2-day planning meeting and 3 conference calls, establishing a new vision statement

2. Establishment of a technology sub-committee comprised of Karl Grice, Curtis Baune and Josh Olson

3. Reduction of association costs, including the redundancy of the administrator position with the aim of eventually turning the budget to sustainable levels

4. Christine has taken on the large task of compiling the CBAA newsletter

5. The technology sub-committee commissioned a new database and is in the process of updating the CBAA website.

Since Chris’ resignation on Wednesday, council has been able to confirm that the national trade show will be going ahead, with details to come in the next few weeks.

In addition, Josh Olson has been elected as interim President. Josh will be attending all the regional trade shows, should you wish to discuss any topics or pass on comments to the council.
